Description:Many people’s New Year’s Resolutions involve getting in shape, slimming down and getting healthy, but what if it’s your budget that needs to go on a diet? If you’ve been financially overindulging and your budget needs a New Year’s slim down, you can come to a free Device Workshop in Goldsboro to learn how to use your smartphone to help.
According to a recent U.S. Cellular survey, 30 percent of people use finance tracking apps (e.g., Mint) to manage their money, and 64 percent use their phones to track account transactions, pay bills or deposit checks¹. If you are in need of a financial “boot camp”, devices such as the iPhone 6s and Samsung Galaxy S 6 can make it easy to track your budget, manage your bank account, pay bills online and search for sales and incentives.
U.S. Cellular wants to show area residents the tips and tricks of using these devices to the fullest, so they are hosting a free Device Workshop on Wednesday, January 13 at 9 a.m. at 803 North Berkeley Blvd. in Goldsboro. The workshop is open to everyone, and you do not need to be a U.S. Cellular customer to attend.
“After the holidays, some of us may need to get our finances back to a healthier state after months of excess spending, and our mobile devices are a great tool for setting and tracking budgets, accessing coupons and finding innovative ways to cut costs,” said Jeremy Taylor, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in eastern North Carolina. “Using these devices on our high-quality network here in Goldsboro or across the country, you’ll be able to trim your spending and feel more financially fit.”
Please call 919-778-6900 for more information on this and upcoming Device Workshops.
